Lyn and Michael established Dekiahs in 2000, focusing on good quality food full of taste with a vision to provide personalised and homely service. Over the last 15 years, Lyn has helped create countless memories through her catering and food supply throughout Kangaroo Valley and the Southern Highlands where she specialised in weddings, events, weekends, corporate functions and wholesale.
Lyn and Michael have proudly created food for:
- Numerous weddings, including tapas, picnic and cocktail events
- Weekend catering, supplying breakfast, lunch and dinner to self-contained accommodation
- Local Restaurants and Café’s
- Functions, event spaces and private property
- Smaller food orders for family gatherings.
Lyn and Michael were also the proud proprietors of Dekiahs Restaurant in the early 2000’s which served Tapas-style foods in a comfortable and relaxed environment; based around a seasonal and adaptable menu created using fresh local produce.
Now based in Terara, Lyn and Michael are bringing their high quality, homely and wholesome foods to the picturesque South Coast of NSW. They are focused on personalised catering as well as wholesale supply to local restaurants and cafés. They know their food to be dynamic and adaptable to varied tastes, venues and requirements including a large range of vegetarian and vegan options.
Lyn’s cooking method is based on using fresh ingredients and varied cuisines to make spectacular flavours to share. Some of her favourite dishes to create include a comprehensive range of savoury morsels, salads, platters & decadent desserts, for easy entertaining.
